Matthew Hardin

Matthew has been part of the Repp+Mclain since 2018, bringing strong communication skills and a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach to every project. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he earned a degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona before briefly working in sales. Realizing that path wasn’t the right fit, he connected with Page while assisting with the Dusk Music Festival. He quickly found his place in the design-build world and hasn’t looked back since.

Matthew thrives in client and neighborhood relations, navigating communication with clarity and professionalism while finding creative ways to repurpose or sell excess materials and equipment. While many might gravitate toward the finish work, Matthew’s favorite phase is demo—embracing the danger, destruction, and decibels of it all! He embraces the mindset that “in order to rebuild, you have to destroy.”

What he values most about Repp+Mclain is the shared expectation of excellence. The team consistently challenges and inspires one another to meet a high standard of competence, grounded in humility and grace—traits he he believes are increasingly rare these days.

Outside of work, Matthew is often applying his skills to help family, neighbors, and friends, or cooling off in a swimming pool after a long hot August day. A lesser-known fact about Matthew is that he is fluent in Spanish and is an avid reader.
