Emily joined Repp + Mclain in the summer of 2026, bringing a multidisciplinary background rooted in fine arts, architecture, and hands-on fabrication. Drawn to RMDC’s integrated design-build approach, she loves connecting the dots between people, systems, and design to make projects run smoothly. Her favorite phase is Construction Administration, where she can be on-site seeing the hard work of the design phase become physical reality.
Originally from Prescott and raised in Chino Valley, Arizona, she earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona. Her personal touch on the Tucson landscape includes the iconic CAPLA gridshell structure on campus, which she spent most of 2016 welding by hand with a close friend.
Outside of the studio, Emily can be found catching live music, making collage art, or relaxing with her pets. She also has a penchant for adventure—having once lived in Berlin, Germany, where she balanced working at Magma Architecture and being a dog walker.
